It is a very interesting business model working abroad. I am able to do most of the work that I was able to do while I was living there. In a lot of ways it's easier because I don't have all the driving and I can work on 3 or 4 computers at a time remotely. It's amazing how much you can get done when the phone doesn't ring!

Mary Lynn came to Jackson in 1993 after graduating from James Madison University in Virginia. She worked in the hospitality industry for 6 years before joining Sapient Capital, a local venture capital firm, where she has worked the past 7 years as an associate and fund administrator.   While at Sapient Capital, Mary Lynn worked extensively with computer systems and networks. She has been doing freelance computer work for the past couple of years. She will be the human presence that will visit your office when it can not be done remotely (installing new computers, etc.)
